Who We Are
Armored Hearts Foundation, Inc. is a U.S. Virgin Islands-based nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the communities we call home. We believe that lasting change happens when individuals are equipped with the tools, support, and opportunity to thrive — and that no one should navigate hardship alone.
Through five interconnected pillars of impact, we address the root causes of inequity and build the infrastructure of resilience that sustains communities for generations to come. Our work is grounded in faith, driven by purpose, and accountable to the people we serve.

Every student deserves a clear direction after high school — and support to take the first step.
Armored Hearts Foundation, Inc. is introducing CHARTED, a graduate readiness initiative, to a cohort of high school students and their families at St. Thomas/St. John Seventh-day Adventist School in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Working through the school’s Counseling Department, CHARTED serves grades 9–12, with particular emphasis on preparing juniors and seniors for life after graduation.
The initiative supports five pathways:
Our goal is for every participating student to graduate with a written plan for the first 12 months after high school — and a first step already taken. Families are part of the journey, with guidance to help them support their student’s choices and preparation.
For younger students, CHARTED opens space to explore. For juniors and seniors, it turns possibilities into practical next steps.

Violence and crime are stealing the futures of young people across our community. CHARTED exists because we believe the answer is not a slogan — it is a plan. Fifty high school students are beginning this journey. Their measure of success is simple: Every Graduate. A Plan. No Exceptions. That outcome is possible — and it takes a community to make it real.
Your Expertise
Every pathway needs a guide. If you work in higher education, the military, the trades, business, or entrepreneurship — your experience is exactly what our students need. We are actively building our network of subject matter professionals who are willing to invest in the next generation.
